The hirer is to return the golf buggy immediately following the completion of their round in
the same condition as the start of the hire, normal wear excepted.
The hirer accepts all risks and liability arising in any way of the use of the buggy during the period of hire however caused, whether such claims shall be for personal injury, property damage or arising in any other way.
The hirer is to indemnify and save harmless Portlethen Golf Club from any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses of any nature whatsoever which may arise from the hirers use of
the golf buggy.
The hirer is to ensure that no more than two people and two sets of golf clubs are carried on the golf car at any time. Under NO circumstances is any person permitted to stand or ride on
the back of the golf buggy.
The golf buggy may only be driven by persons aged 18 and over.
The hirer represents that he/she is familiar with the operation, use and control of a golf buggy. That he/she has read the instructions appearing on the golf buggy and is competent to operate and control the golf cart in accordance with said instructions.
If the buggy is damaged in any way ,normal wear excepted, the hirer will be held liable for the cost of all repairs by an authorised repairer as appointed and engaged by Portlethen Golf Club.
If there is any damage to the course (including bridges/walls/tee furniture/benches etc) which is found to be as a result of the buggy being driven or treated in such a way as to cause such damage the hirer will be held liable for the cost of all repairs by an authorised repairer as appointed and engaged by Portlethen Golf Club.
The hirer agrees that the cost to repair any damage to the buggy and/or the course , as defined above, will be invoiced to him/her and said invoice will be settled immediately on receipt.
Failure to do so will result in the debt being passed immediately to a debt collection agency for further action at the hirers expense.
The consumption of alcohol and/or the use of drugs is not permitted when using the ride-on buggy.
Buggies must NEVER be driven onto tees (including banked areas surrounding tees), greens, aprons or approaches.
Further specific conditions are displayed on each buggy and breaches of any of these conditions will result in immediate rejection from the golf course without recompense.
